All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Marcus
Marcus
Marcus is being rehomed by our rescue partners, they say:
Say hello to Marcus, a playful boy who is around 3 to 4 years old. Marcus was a stray who came into our care after he was found severely injured. He had bites all over his body which caused a lot of scabs and missing fur. He was attacked by foxes on multiple occasions which resulted in a a serious injury causing him to limp, rendering him unable to use the leg for weeks. He has been to a groomer to be cleaned up which he seemed to enjoy the experience. Due to trauma and living rough for what we imagine years, he was very scared and withdrawn initially but with plenty of cage rest and lots of TLC, his limp has healed, his fur is regrowing and he is now very well, very energetic and very much looking for his forever Once settled you will get to see his true gentle and playful nature. He loves loves to play! In his new home he will likely be very shy and a little frightened so he will need a little time to adapt. He is a good boy and will listen to you when you tell him to not do something! Marcus will eat anything really but he does love a good tuna treat! Though Marcus a young boy, listen out for his little grandpa-like huffs and puffs when he plays! He loves to drag his toys back to his bed - so you will get a bit of dog in him too!
