All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Socks
Socks
Socks is a beautiful, young tabby with lots of love to give to his forever home! He was found abandoned, so we’re unsure of his exact age - but the vet estimates 1-2 years old.
It takes him a while to settle into new environments, but once comfortable, he is the most affectionate cat I’ve ever met. Socks loves to be cuddled, scratched, and fussed over. He likes to keep you company wherever you are in the house, even if it’s just sleeping beside you. Also, he is very playful and loves to play with all his toys - often keeping himself entertained!
He’s very clean and is well trained with the litter box/scratching post. If he wants something, he will let you know as he’s very vocal and loves to meow! He is vaccinated, microchipped, and is due to be neutered very soon. He is currently living as an indoor cat, but would benefit from being allowed outdoors. Unfortunately, he doesn’t get on with children or other pets, since his shaky start in life has made him a little jumpy. He’d suit a quieter home.
