All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed & microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a 1st vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive or are at least 10 years old and show no more interest in going outside.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance an older cat, an indoor only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Sooty
Sooty
We received a stray cat who was in very poor health including high temp. He has undergone castration, microchipping, and treatment for fleas and worms. He finished a course of antibiotics and ear drops.
Additionally, we did a blood test which revealed he is hyperthyroid, so we have started treatment with Felimazole but otherwise the rest of his blood results look good.
Despite his initial health challenges, Sooty is a good-natured cat. However, he does require someone who understands how to handle cats as he can be quite shy and will benefit from a patient caregiver.
