Benny and Coco

£0.00

Coco was signed over to Feline Friends London after a volunteer saw her being advertised on a lamppost for free, in need of “urgent rehoming”. She is a very young cat, but in her short life, she has now been rehomed at least twice. Despite this, she has retained her trust in people and loves human company. She is an adorable cat with a lively and confident personality. Coco does not like to be separated from the action. She tries to open doors if she feels excluded. Whatever you are doing, the chances are that Coco will not be far away!

Coco is a bright, chatty cat, and she will need stimulation to satisfy her curiosity. She is very keen to venture outside and will need access to a safe garden. Coco has a very gentle nature, and although not yet a lap cat (we feel sure this will come with time), she really enjoys being petted and cuddled. On her own, Coco could be suitable for a family with young children.

Although Coco is very fond of people, she is not so keen on other cats, apart from one - Benny! Since her arrival, Coco and Benny have developed a strong friendship. They are always chasing each other around, bouncing off every available surface. The zooming episodes can be fun to watch, but can become quite chaotic. Anybody willing to take Benny and Coco as a pair would need to be prepared to supervise them as required. Playtimes aside, Benny and Coco like to eat together and have been found quietly grooming each other.

Benny was found abandoned when he was only about eight weeks old. He was spotted at dawn playing by himself in a small park before it opened. His rescuer was unable to access the park but returned after dark, somewhat relieved to find Benny hadn't strayed much further, and he was brought immediately into foster care.

Benny seems unfazed by his early experiences. He is the most endearing bundle of energy. He is a very bright and inquisitive, alert to everything that is happening when he is awake, and always searching out mischief. He appears at lightning speed. He gets on well with other cats and is often found zooming around playing chase and leapfrog with the other young foster cats. He also likes human company. He's a wriggler when he is awake, but will happily succumb to a big cuddle when he is sleepy.

Whilst he is a very friendly cat, he probably isn't suitable for very young children (or people who love birds) as he sometimes has trouble differentiating between a cat toy and anything else that dangles! Benny needs company for stimulation and ideally should live with another cat and have access to a safe garden.

Benny and Coco are both confident enough to be rehomed separately, but would be a good pair for a couple or older family with the energy for close supervision. They are great friends and often goading each other into a game of zoomies.
