Adopt a Cat from Feline Friends London
All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet-checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed, and microchipped by the time they are rehomed.
Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a first vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months, we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat, and £90 for cats of 10 years and over.
When applying to adopt a cat, please put the name of the cat in the subject line of your email. If your enquiry is more general and you are looking for a type of cat, for instance, an older cat, an indoor-only cat, a cat with a disability or special needs, or a pair of cats or kittens, please put this in the subject line.
Meet the Cats Looking for New Homes
Gem
Gem
Gem was recently found as a stray and taken in by the kind couple currently looking after him. They are getting him health-checked and vaccinated to help him find a loving new home. If they could, they would, saying that “he is the perfect cat and we would keep him in a heartbeat.” Instead, they hope you see Gem and open your heart and home to him.
Gem is a super-friendly 6-year-old male. He’d been neutered and microchipped when he was found, but sadly, his previous owners have not responded to rescue and veterinary workers reaching out. He was anxious at first, but instead of hiding or even displaying hostility, he sought comfort from his rescuers by sitting on their laps or sitting next to them.
He is currently living indoors with his two adult rescuers, who called him Gem because “he is a gem of a cat.” He loves sitting on the windowsill looking out and sleeping in cardboard boxes. He is fully house-trained and is perfectly fine being picked up. He likes being brushed and doesn't mind his feet being touched. He loves being petted and sitting (or sleeping) on laps, even when not scared. He just seems to be happy to have found humans who care for him again.
Please get in touch if you can’t wait to meet Gem – he honestly looks like the perfect working-from-home partner!
