All the adult cats in our foster care will have been vet-checked, neutered, vaccinated, deflead, wormed, and microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a first vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months, we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age.
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat, and £90 for cats of 10 years and over. We rehome cats as indoor-only if they have a disability, are FIV or FeLV positive, or are at least 10 years old and show no interest in going outside.

According to her current owner, “Mabel is a very sweet agent of misery (fortitude). I love her, but I am unable to manage currently.”
Mabel is a special 8-year-old lady with special needs. She can be nervous, but enjoys her lap time and settling down on your chest or next to you. She is not very playful, but sometimes likes kicking something small around the floor.
Once you have built her trust, she loves a good brush and prefers a rough-housing pet to something gentle. She LOVES a belly rub and chin scratches. She likes to sit outside and watch the world go by, but doesn’t really go outdoors.
She eats like she has never been fed in her life, every time. Mabel has IBS and can only eat single-ingredient food, and definitely no chicken, otherwise she gets sick. She also can’t eat dry food as she will throw it back up.
She is susceptible to fleas, which make her vomit, but flea treatment also makes her vomit for about a week. She’s had most of her teeth removed due to a mouth infection and may need further dental treatment.
She also does ‘protest poos’ (vet has confirmed) when stressed, but uses a litter tray just fine otherwise. She needs regular nail clipping as she is unable to manage them herself because of her missing teeth.
