Adopt a Cat from Feline Friends London
Our adoption fees are £125 for a single kitten under 6 months, £200 for a pair of kittens under 6 months, £120 for an adult cat, and £90 for cats of 10 years and over.
All adult cats in our foster care will have been vet-checked, neutered, fully vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, and microchipped by the time they are rehomed. Kittens of 9 weeks are rehomed with a first vaccination and will have had a full vaccination course if rehomed at 13 weeks. For cats under 6 months, we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped by 6 months of age, which can be arranged through us.
Cats rehomed directly from their current owner or carer are assessed for their health, but may not have been neutered, fully vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, or microchipped by the time they are rehomed. If this is the case with a cat you would like to adopt, we need you to agree to get them neutered and microchipped, which can be arranged through us.
Please read about our adoption process before applying to adopt a cat (listed further below):

We receive a lot of applications from people wishing to adopt our cats and kittens. Unfortunately, this means that our volunteers are not always able to respond to every application we receive. We hope that you can understand that we do our best, that we appreciate your kindness in offering a home for our cats, and that the welfare of our cats is at the forefront of our minds at all times.
Meet the Cats Looking for New Homes
Neko and Tako
Neko and Tako
Meet Neko and Tako, a dynamic sister duo approaching life in their own unique way.
Neko: the independent huntress
Some cats play. Neko hunts.
Bring out a wand toy and she doesn't simply chase it. She stalks it. She watches, circles slowly, waits for the right moment, then pounces. Her play sessions are a lesson in patience and precision, and they're a real joy to watch.
Those instincts don't switch off when playtime ends. In her foster home Neko is the chief forager. She's first on the scene in the kitchen, checking for leftovers, inspecting unwashed pans and opening any bag left within reach. When she isn't hunting, she likes to find a high perch and survey her surroundings.
She looks the part too: a striking tabby with bold markings, a single black sock and lovely tufted ears that give her the look of a miniature lynx. Fittingly, her name simply means "cat" in Japanese, and she's a natural hunter, true to her instincts.
Neko is independent to her core. She's reserved and likes her own space, and she isn't one for cuddles or laps. She shows trust on her own terms. At mealtimes she lowers her guard for an occasional nose bop and a stroke down her back, and those moments feel all the more special because she chooses them.
Tako: a sweet little analyst
Some cats explore a room. Tako studies it.
In a new space she likes to take her time and investigate every corner carefully. What exactly is a potted plant? What's kept in the food cupboard? She likes to understand things properly before moving on.
She pays just as much attention to people. In foster care she quickly learned when mealtimes are, and that a particular cupboard door opening means dinner is on its way. She even worked out which door her fosterers sleep behind and now waits patiently outside it. Very little gets past Tako.
She's a sharply dressed tuxedo, with a glossy black coat, a crisp white bib and four perfect white socks, as though she's always ready for an important meeting. Her name means "octopus" in Japanese, a nod to that inky, jet-black coat.
That clever little head comes with a big heart. Tako is wonderfully caring. She's always the first to go over and wash her sister, and she comes running whenever Neko calls. She's also recently discovered the joy of chin scratches and become a bit of a needy girl about it. She'll come up to ask for attention and purr away when you find the right spot. She isn't a lap cat, but she's growing more confident with people all the time.
When the analysing is done, she's playful and full of energy and loves chasing a wand toy.
Their dream home
Neko’s heart is set on the great outdoors. She spends much of the day at the window, watching the world outside. Neko needs a home with safe outdoor access where she can explore, climb and follow her instincts, ideally with a garden and some high places to watch from.
Gentle, curious and bright, Tako would where she has many toys to play with and an endless supply of new things to investigate.
They would suit a calm adult household, or a family with respectful older children, who appreciate cats for their independence, and are happy to give them time and space to settle in. Like many cat, Neko and Tako may need a little time to settle in somewhere new and take things at their own pace.
